Join us in Richmond at the Richmond Art Gallery for an artist talk and curator tour. At 1pm, curator Nan Capogna will give us a tour of Girard’s exhibition entitled: GREG GIRARD: RICHMOND/KOWLOON.  Following the tour we will head over to the Performance Hall at the Richmond Cultural Centre where Greg Girard will be giving a talk about his work at 2pm.
More about the exhibition:  Vancouver-based Greg Girard spent three decades working and living in Asia examining the social and physical transformations of some of its largest cities through his photographic work. Richmond/Kowloon includes photographs documenting Kowloon Walled City in Hong Kong as well as a new body of photographic images of Richmond, BC and its residents.
