Khan Lee

Born in Seoul, Korea where he studied architecture at Hong-Ik University, Khan Lee immigrated to Canada in the early 90\’s. Lee studied at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design from 1996 until 2000 and currently lives in Vancouver. He is a founding member of Vancouver based artist collective \’Intermission\’ and currently an active member of \’Instant Coffee\’ collective. Lee has also been working as a studio and technical assistant for numerous artists in Vancouver. His experiments with materials and technologies have resulted in performance, sculpture and media works. Lee has shown a photo installation at CSA Gallery and participated in group exhibitions at the Shudder Gallery, Or Gallery, and Western Front in Vancouver; the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo, Japan; and Canada House in London, England. “Untitled” at Centre A is Khan Lee’s first survey solo exhibition.
