SELF IMPERSONATIONS & OTHER ATTRACTIONS:
Surrey Art Gallery, 2:00-3:00pm

A Panel discussion on artist self-representation and embodiment of others in an age of social media with New York based artist David Horvitz and Vancouver-based artists Roselina Hung and Eryne Donahue. Moderated by Surrey Art Gallery Curator of Exhibitions and Collections Jordan Strom.

The artist panel is presented in conjunction with the group exhibitions Scenes of Selves Occasions for Ruses (with artists Jim Andrews, Eryne Donahue, David Horvitz, Roselina Hung, Suzy Lake, Elizabeth Milton, Pushpamala N and Clare Arni, Carol Sawyer, and Carrie Walker) and Echoes of the Artist: Works from the Permanent Collection  (Alberta Browne, Diana Burgoyne, Barbara Cole, Janieta Eyre, Marianne Forsythe, George Littlechild, Al McWilliams, David Neel, Al Neil, Joseph Plaskett, Drew Shaffer, Henry Tsang, and Jin-me Yoon).

Following the Panel Discussion at the Surrey Art Gallery, the CASV will be hosting a Members only Cocktail Reception from 4-5:30pm located at Omer Arbel’s 23.3 House, South Surrey.

The reception will include artists David Horvitz, Roselina Hung and Eryne Donahue and Vancouver architect and designer Omer Arbel will give a tour of this critically acclaimed residence. Space is limited, and spots will be filled by the lottery system.
