BYRON ACEMAN COLLECTION VISIT & RECEPTION
In collaboration with longtime Contemporary Art Society of Vancouver Member Byron Aceman and Guest Curator Sherri Kajiwara the CASV invites you to join us in a tour of Mr. Aceman’s collection. Following the tour, there will be a reception where members can talk more in depth with Mr. Acemen and Ms. Kajiwara about the collection.
With over 500 works by more than 100 artists covering a wide range of media, the Byron Aceman Collection (BAC) is evidence of one man’s dedication and patronage to the arts. Mr. Aceman’s collection reflects his evolution as a collector and on March 18, 2015, he will open his private residence to members of the Contemporary Art Society of Vancouver to showcase a selection of works focusing on new media. Artists in this exhibition include: Robert Carter, Adriana Farmiga, Jeremy Isao Speier, Owen Kydd, Hye Rim Lee, Khan Lee, Mark Lewis, Michael Miller, Marina Roy, Carol Sawyer, Jeremy Shaw, Evann Siebens
